Kianna Grant
Kianna Grant is a wife, mother, minister, and public servant whose life’s work is anchored in transformation—from the inside out. Known for her bold voice and God-led sensitivity, she doesn’t just speak to audiences; she speaks into lives. Through divine insight and authentic conviction, she carries a calling to reach people right where they are and awaken what’s within them.
Whether engaging from the pulpit or at the policy table, Kianna carries a unique pairing of strategy and spiritual depth. Her leadership in government refined her grit; her journey in ministry deepened her grace. Together, they forged a voice that is both compelling and compassionate—one that disrupts complacency and calls people higher.
Her passion for inner wholeness was born from a season where outward progress did not mirror inward peace. That experience ignited her commitment to help others bridge that same gap—to live healed, aligned, and committed to becoming who they were created to be. As a former educator, holding a B.A. in Spanish and an M.A. in Teaching, she carries a heart for development—not just of minds, but of one’s highest, God-intended self—believing that true growth begins within.
Kianna has championed underserved voices, led initiatives that shifted outcomes for families, and delivered messages that move people from revelation to transformation. She shows up with clarity, spiritual authority, and a firm conviction that what happens within us ultimately shapes how we live, lead, and impact the world.

Raised in the church, Kianna first served through worship—singing in the choir and dancing in youth ministry. Her grandfather, Pastor Tommie Dade, cultivated a lineage of ministers, singers, and servant-leaders. Though she never met him, his legacy of teaching the Word continues through her life and calling.
At 24, Kianna experienced a defining encounter with God that affirmed her call to preach. Since then, she has ministered with conviction, clarity, and heartfelt sincerity—often flowing between preaching and worship as the Spirit leads. Known for her bold, clear delivery of the Word, she brings messages that move beyond inspiration into true transformation. To Kianna, preaching is not performance but surrender—where God speaks through her to meet people where they are and lead them toward where they are called to be.
Over the years, her ministry has extended through various leadership roles—including co-leading Women of Purpose, leading prayer services, overseeing praise and worship, founding a youth ministry, and serving as a children’s church pastor. These assignments not only expanded her reach, but deepened her heart for activating believers to walk in identity, purpose, and spiritual maturity.

Civic Engagement
A lifelong resident of Gary, Indiana, Kianna carries a deep love for her city and its people. Her dedication to civic work is driven by a vision to see Gary revitalized, equitable, and future-focused.
She led the Love Your Block grant program from inception through implementation, mobilizing residents and partner organizations to directly impact neighborhoods. She also helped expand citywide outreach efforts such as 16 Weeks of Summer, bringing together partners from across Gary and Northwest Indiana to strengthen engagement and local collaboration.
As Director of Constituent Services, Kianna redesigned and transformed the city’s 311 service structure into a centralized system that reduced response and resolution times and strengthened public trust. She also conceptualized, produced, and hosted a first-of-its-kind State of the City address, turning it into a strategic communication platform that highlighted progress, accountability, and vision. Additionally, she helped establish the Age-Friendly Advisory Council, a collaborative initiative dedicated to enhancing quality of life and accessibility for seniors and intergenerational residents.
Known for her bold clarity, strategic execution, and commitment to service, Kianna bridges government and community so that progress is not only seen—but felt. She believes transformation begins with people—but must also extend into the systems that serve them. It is from this lived leadership that she speaks on resilience, systems change, and purpose-driven impact.
